HRTX & DOD Partnership
Since 2010, DOD & HRTX have maintained a unique & exclusive partnership that fosters innovative research by enabling collaboration between the best military doctors and the best civilian researchers.
For over 15 years, this partnership has allowed HRTX researchers to work side-by-side with DOD healthcare professionals at DOD military hospitals.
This partnership has created the Health Outcomes Research Center of Excellence (HORCE) to perform DOD IRB-approved health research that improves force readiness, improves healthcare outcomes, and/or lowers healthcare costs across the DOD and throughout the United States. HORCE achieves these goals by performing novel research within the DOD healthcare system that is led by DOD Principal Investigators in secure collaboration with the best experts both inside and outside the military.
